Aly Raisman is an American Olympic gymnast with an estimated net worth of $500 thousand. She was born on May 25, 1994 in Needham, Massachusetts. Her birth name is actually Alexandra Rose Raisman. Her mother is Lynn, who was a former high school gymnast who passed her love of the sport on to her young daughter. Her father is Rick. She is the oldest of four kids. She has two younger sisters and a younger brother, all of whom were raised Jewish. During her childhood, she was very into gymnastics. She began practicing when she was only 2, which she loved even then. She became obsessed with becoming an Olympic gymnast when her parents recorded the “Magnificent Seven” American-gold winning Olympic Gymnastics team during the 1996 year.

She trained hard throughout her entire childhood while still maintaining her good grades and her professional reputation. When she graduated from high school in 2012, she actually committed to compete for the University of Florida’s gymnastics team. She later rescinded her decision to go to UF and pursue her professional career. She is now working as a professional gymnast who attends Babson College during her free time.

She is a world champion with dozens of championships under her belt in numerous cities and competitions across the world. She is known for being one of the most famous gymnasts of her time, and she has currently left for Rio to compete in the 2016 Olympics. This is her second appearance, and she is currently killing it on the floor. She won a gold medal on the floor that year, along with several bronze medals. She was then injured during the post-Olympic tour. She did not return to the floor for two years following her injuries, and she is now working to win more championships.

Aly Raisman was not just someone who competed in only Gymnastics. She made it her goal to compete on reality television, too, by appearing in the sixteenth season of Dancing with the Stars. It was her second appearance on the show as she and the other Fierce Five (as they were nicknamed in the London Olympics in 2012) competed alongside former Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson during her own season of DWTS. She and her partner finished in the fourth place spot that year, and she was a huge fan favorite.

Aly Raisman manages to keep her personal life quite personal. If she has any romantic relationship at the moment, the world does not know about it. She is exceptionally close to her parents and her younger siblings. Her personal life is very private, but it’s also spent mostly at home or training for her professional career as a gymnast. She does not spend must time away from the gym, and she spends the rest of her free time with her family.
