Most well known for his title role in the 1976 martial arts movie Bruce Lee: The Man, The Myth, he also portrayed Bruce Lee in Bruce Lee: A Dragon Story (1974); Bruce Lee's Secret (1976); Fists of Bruce Lee (1978); and over thirty other films.

Before Fame

Prior to Bruce Lee's death and the introduction of the "Bruceploitation" movie genre, Li (then known as James Ho) performed film stunts in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Trivia

He was featured in a 1990s documentary film titled Top Fighter.

Family Life

Born Ho Chung-tao, he spent his youth in Taiwan. Following his wife's 1985 death, he ended his career as an actor, martial artist, and Bruce Lee impersonator.

Associated With

Li and Chinese actor and bodybuilder Bolo Yeung were both in the cast of the 1978 film The Image of Bruce Lee.
