Late member of the Inglewood-born hip hop group Cali Swag District, the artist formerly known as JayAre helped to produce the extremely popular single "Teach Me How To Dougie" on Cali Swag District's debut album The Kickback.

Before Fame

He and his friends Yung, Smoove Da General, and the deceased M-Bone made up the original quartet to begin work on their debut album The Kickback in 2010.

Cali Swag District released two mixtapes before Childs' untimely death: 2011's Deeper Than the Dougie and 2014's The District.

Family Life

Diagnosed with sickle cell anemia, he was admitted to the hospital in June 2014 after suffering a seizure in his sleep. While there, he suffered a heart attack and passed away.
