Something weird is going on here. Wrestler CM Punk quits WWE weeks before Wrestlemania? That would be like a football player retiring right before he had a chance to play the Super Bowl. Truth is, it makes little sense to us. Well, there are two ways to look at this right now. One, he really did quit after battling many injuries and feeling that take its toll. Or, this is all meant to bring hype to Wrestlemania, where he will still walk on stage to battle, only now to the shock and awe of everyone who thought he was gone. Truth is, we cannot tell which side of the coin this incident falls under.

The hype started when CM Punk missed an event the WWE was having in Ohio. After that, they pulled his name from all future events. He also took to Twitter to thank his long time fans, which seemed an odd move. As many know, CM Punk’s contract with the WWE is up this Summer and many think this is him getting ready to not renew it and move to another wrestling company. Other people seem to think the star is retiring altogether. The reality is, even if he does want to leave, CM Punk quits WWE before Wrestlemania just seems like an insane move to us.
