Daniel Marc Snyder, an American businessman and the owner of the National Football League’s Washington Commanders, was born on November 23, 1964. (NFL). Snyder married Tanya Ivey, a former Atlanta fashion model, in 1994. She is a national breast cancer awareness spokesperson and was named co-CEO of the Washington Football Team in 2021. They live in Alexandria, Virginia, with their three children. Snyder had surgery in 2001 to remove a cancerous thyroid gland.

Snyder donated $1 million to victims of the September 11th attacks and $600,000 to Hurricane Katrina victims. He covered the costs of charitable food shipments to those in Indonesia and Thailand affected by the 2004 tsunami. Following Hurricane Matthew in 2016, Snyder used his private plane to deliver emergency supplies to the Bahamas as well as medical supplies to Hospital Bernard Mevs in Port-au-Prince. Snyder established the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation in 2000.
