Amapiano producer DJ Maphorisa’s arrest news is making headlines on several online portals. As mentioned in the released reports, authorities witnessed Maphorisa’s partner, Phongolo, going to the Police station.

Reportedly, she had severe bruises on her neck. In her recorded statement, the former Actress claimed to have sustained injuries to her arms, chest, right cheek, and neck.

Maphorisa’s partner complained to the authorities that the DJ reacted aggressively and struck her in the face when she confronted him during a heated argument.

As mentioned by the reports, she revealed that he continued to abuse her physically after the initial slap.

There is still uncertainty about what led to the argument. Insider’s post suggests that the pair experienced significant difficulties in their relationship. Reportedly, that was not the first time the DJ and Thuli had a heated disagreement.
