Prince Harry has been losing his hair for a few years now. In the last year especially, we’ve been able to clearly see his growing bald spot in photos. He isn’t losing his hair at the same rate as his work-shy brother – William’s baldness was extreme even in his late 20s. Harry is 32 years old now and he’s got a relatively small bald spot that he mostly camouflages by keeping his hair longer and doing a sort of creative backcombing. Still, it’s gotta hurt. Harry is forever boyish, forever the “hot prince” following William’s steep hotness decline in his 20s. So would Harry do the unthinkable and actually get a hair transplant?

Prince Harry is following in his brother’s footsteps – by going bald!

“Harry’s terrified of losing his hair,” says the source, adding that Harry is determined to stop the thinning before it gets worse.

“He’s spoken to several doctors about having a hair transplant.”

But Harry plans to keep the surgery a secret.

“He’s poked so much fun at William over the years,” says the source, noting that if William finds out, “He’ll mock Harry to no end.”

Harry has even ribbed William in interviews about Will’s baldness, a fact which makes William have a little mini-tantrum. So would William mock his little brother? Probably. But my guess is that William has already taken note of Harry’s growing bald spot and already shot off a few mean quips. All that being said, I doubt Harry would go for a hair transplant or hairplugs or – God help us all – a toupee. Even when most of his ginger locks are gone, Harry will still be hot, right? RIGHT??

Also: Now I kind of wonder if that’s why Harry is keeping his beard. The more hair he loses on top of his head, the more he overcompensates with the beard.
