He began taking dance classes at age 3. He later studied at the Royal Ballet School, graduating as 1 of 6 male dancers in the Upper School at age 16.

Trivia

In 2012, he won the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance for his performance as Gregor Samsa in Metamorphosis. In 2015, he won the Prix Benois de la Danse Award for his performance as Leontes in The Winter's Tale at the Royal Ballet.

Family Life

He was born in Bromley, Kent, and raised in Dartford. He has a twin sister named Liz.
