Florence Pugh and Zach Braff are no longer together. The couple who always aimed to keep their relationship out of the spotlight have broken up in private.

In the September 2022 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, the 26-year-old revealed that she and Braff quietly went different ways. The pair did not talk about it publicly to avoid commentary from online trolls.

Pugh told the magazine:

“We’ve been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it’s been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on. We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we’re not together. So we’ve done that.”

She added:

“I automatically get a lumpy throat when I talk about it,”

Pugh likes to keep her private life under wraps

The Don’t Worry Darling further revealed that she doesn’t like the attention she gets for her personal life.

Talking about her privacy, the Little Women actress continued:

“Whenever I feel like that line has been crossed in my life, whether it’s paparazzi taking private moments or moments that aren’t even real, or gossip channels that encourage members of the public to share private moments of famous people walking down the street, I think it’s incredibly wrong,”

She added:

“I don’t think that people, just because they have this job, that every aspect of their life should be watched and written about. We haven’t signed up for a reality TV show.”

The actress has time and again spoken out against trolls and people who bully her on social media about her huge age difference with Braff.

The couple’s dating rumors first started swirling around in April 2019 after they were spotted holding hands.

This past April, the British actress honored her partner,47, with a post that showed her beau resting at the edge of a pool and a beautiful caption that read:

“Happy birthday to this beautiful human being. I am so lucky to know you. And the world is so lucky they get to witness your incredible talent,”
