Professional first baseman and utilityman that was drafted by the Miami Marlins during the first round of the 2015 MLB Draft. He was later acquired by the Cleveland Indians via trade in August 2020. He has also played in the San Diego Padres farm system.

Before Fame

He graduated from the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Secondary School in Ontario, Canada. While in high school, he won a silver medal with the Canadian national team at the 18U IBAF Baseball World Championships in South Korea. 

Trivia

During the 2020 American League Wild Card Series, he made history after recording five hits in his first five at-bats. He is the only ever to achieve this feat.

He is a native of Mississauga, Canada. His brother, Noah, is also a professional baseball player.
