At this point, I know most people don’t really care about Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, but I still find this on-going drama fascinating. Did they break up a month ago? Are they still together? Is Justin cheating on Jessica with Rihanna? Is Justin redecorating his house? All good questions, and I don’t really know the answers.

There are two new pieces of interesting news about the drama. The first comes from Britain’s Closer Magazine via the NYDN, which basically means this story could have been totally and utterly falsified. But I so hope it wasn’t, because this sh-t is cracking me up. Justin’s grandma has a mouth on her! And she doesn’t care for all of these tramps (Jessica) getting their “bidness” all up on her chaste, sweet little innocent grandson.

Jessica Biel is rumored to be wallowing in denial over her recent relationship woes with Justin Timberlake, but one woman in the “SexyBack” singer’s life saw it coming a mile away.

“Jessica was keen to marry, but Justin isn’t ready. … As far as we’re concerned, he’s always been single,” Timberlake’s grandmother Sadie Bomar said.

In an interview with Closer that hits newsstands today, Bomar said a committed relationship that was marriage-bound was never on the table between Timberlake and Biel, London’s Daily Mail reports.

The pop star is focused instead, she said, on his career.

“The girlfriends come and go, but we believe nothing has ever been serious,” Bomar said in the interview.

Ha! Granny’s got an attitude. “As far as we’re concerned, he’s always been single.” Dude, that one hurts. It would be one thing if granny was like “I don’t care for your girlfriend” but it’s quite another when granny’s all “What girlfriend?” when Jessica’s been with Justin for nearly two-and-a-half years. Chuckle. Why doesn’t Justin’s granny host Saturday Night Live? She would be a hoot.

Anyhoodle, the other piece of Biel-Timberlake news comes via Fox 411. They claim Justin and Jessica are totally Splitsville, and that the photo-op last week was simply two friends hanging out because one of those friends is severely depressed at being dumped. They also say Justin and Rihanna are getting hot and heavy, but it’s nothing serious:

Sources tell FOX411 that the nearly three-year relationship between Timberlake and Biel is kaput. The couple has indeed parted ways, and Justin has moved onto a rebound romance with Rihanna.

“Justin and Jessica did break up. They were very busy living separate lives this summer and they drifted apart,” says the insider. “Justin broke up with Jessica weeks ago, but he’s a good guy and he does care about her. They will always stay in touch because he works very hard at friendships with his exes.”

Indeed, Timberlake and ex Cameron Diaz even did red carpet events together in conjunction with the “Shrek” movies after those two split. But will Biel be able to keep her upper lip stiff like Diaz did?

“Jessica is obviously sad, and Justin is still around to be there for her,” says the source. “Photos will still surface of them together because they will remain friends, and anytime she needs him, he will be there.”

At least if he’s not with Rihanna. The same insider tells FOX411 that Justin is getting much closer to fellow pop superstar Rihanna. The two have always been friendly and enjoy working together, but now things are getting steamy.

“Justin and Rihanna have been working frequently in the studio and they have amazing chemistry with or without the music,” the snitch says. “Over VMA weekend, they spent quality time together and got a little naughty at Jay-Z’s club, 40/40. Justin and Rihanna were having fun and there was a lapdance involved. They are way beyond co-workers.”

Will Justin and Rihanna be the next super couple? Probably not, says the source. “Justin is a private guy and it would be difficult for him to date Rihanna under so much scrutiny. He likes to keep his life to himself, but they have unbelievable chemistry.”

I actually wouldn’t mind seeing JT and Rihanna hook up for real – I think they would be a cute, interesting couple. As far as the Jessica stuff goes, it really sounds like this source is trying to make Jessica sound as pathetic as possible, doesn’t it? I also loved the line “he works very hard at friendships with his exes”… JT has to “work hard” at friendship because he treats them like crap when he’s breaking up with them.
