Phoebe Bridgers is an American singer-songwriter known for her deeply personal and introspective lyrics, haunting vocals, and minimalist instrumentation. Her music has been described as a mix of indie folk, indie rock, and emo, and she has become one of the most acclaimed and celebrated young musicians in recent years. She has received four nominations at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards for Best New Artist, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song and Best Alternative Music Album.

Bridgers first gained attention in 2017 with the release of her debut album, “Stranger in the Alps,” which was met with critical acclaim and named one of the best albums of the year by several publications. The album was produced by Tony Berg, Ethan Gruska and Rob Moose. In 2020, Bridgers’ released her second album, “Punisher,” which received widespread critical acclaim and earned her several award nominations, including four Grammy nominations.

In addition to her solo work, Bridgers has collaborated with a range of other artists, including Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes, with whom she formed the band Better Oblivion Community Center in 2019. She also worked with Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett on a cover of Gillian Welch’s song “Everything Is Free” in 2020. The cover was released as part of a fundraiser for the Newport Festivals Foundation, which supports musicians and music education.
