Robert Thomas Taylor, born October 21, 1994, in Kuopio, Finland, is a Finnish professional footballer who currently plays for MLS side Inter Miami and the Finland national team. Taylor was 28 years old when this story was written, and he wore number 16 for his side, Inter Miami.

Taylor joined JJK’s youth team in 2004 and continued to play for the club until he reached the senior level. During this period, he was on a two-year scholarship with Nottingham Forest and subsequently Lincoln City in England, the country of his father’s birth. Taylor played one game on loan with Boston Town of the United Counties League 2013.

He signed a professional contract with Barnet later that year, but it fell through due to their relegation from the English Football League. Taylor joined Brann on January 20, 2020, and will replace Ruben Yttergrd Jenssen. Taylor agreed to terms with Major League Soccer team Inter Miami on a two-year contract on February 11, 2022.
