Ronald Perlman popularly known as Ron Perlman is an American actor born in Manhattan, New York on April 13, 1950.
He is known to have featured in movies including Quest for fire, the name of the Rose, Beauty and the beast, One in the city of lost children, Joyner in Alien resurrection, Hellboy, The Golden army and several others.

He has won several awards for his roles, awards include the Golden Globe Award.
Ron was born to Bertram, his father who was a television repairman and Dorothy, a municipal employee.

He is a graduate with masters degree in theatre arts from the University of Minnesota.
