The National Football League quarterback Troy Aikman, who was born on November 21, 1966, played for the Dallas Cowboys for 12 seasons.

Aikman worked as NFL on Fox’s color analyst from 2001 through 2021 after retiring in 2000. He was appointed the color analyst for Monday Night Football broadcasts on ESPN in 2022. Along with fellow former Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach, Aikman co-owned the Hall of Fame Racing team in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series from 2005 to 2009. He also had a small ownership stake in the Major League Baseball team San Diego Padres.

Troy retired early due to frequent injuries especially concussions which limited his playing time.
