Actress who played Nina Williams in the Showtime series The Chi. She portrayed Julia in the NBC series The Shrink. She also appeared in Utopia, Empire, Chicago Med, The Girlfriend Experience, The Mob Doctor, and Chicago P.D.

Before Fame

She enrolled at Roosevelt University, but later dropped out to attend Columbia College.

Trivia

Her first screen credit was in the 1998 film Placebo Effect. She was in the 2019 film Dreaming Grand Avenue, as well as the 2018 film Animator. She has also done her fair share of theater and stage work. For example, in March of 2009, she played Maya in "Magnolia," a play by Regina Taylor at the Goodman Theater in Chicago, Illinois.
