Whitney Bennett is a young lady who survived a killer attack by a night stalker called Ramirez. She went visiting with some friends in the evening.

At the time, the 16-year-old Whitney Bennet fell asleep in her bedroom in her family’s home.

In the night, serial killer Richard Ramirez opened her unlocked door while carrying a tire iron.

He beat the sleeping teenager repeatedly in the head with the weapon.

He later went to the kitchen to find a knife. Unfortunately Ramirez couldn’t find one, and instead tried to strangle Bennett with a telephone cord.

But as sparks flew from the cord, he dropped the cord and fled as Bennett began coughing and breathing.

When she was rushed to the hospital, Bennett needed nearly 500 stitches to her head, as well as some cosmetic surgery. All the same, she fully recovered from her injuries.
