Celebrities are trend setters. They wear cool clothes, they say cool things, and do a dozen other things we the public tend to copy at times. Unfortunately, it’s not all cool things with celebrities. They certainly have their share of vices, just like the rest of the world. The only difference is: there are millions of eyes on them not us.Smoking cigarettes was once a celebrity trend that the public emulated with amazing vigor. These days it’s not so bad. In fact, at times we don’t even know the celebrities we love smoke. Perhaps that’s a good thing. So who are those cool celebrities you may have not known that enjoy a cigarette or two or six?

1.Keira Knightley

It’s no secret that Knightley is, at times, uncomfortably skinny.  This could very well be one of the reasons why.  She’s known to smoke pretty often and isn’t ashamed about it in the least.  It’s too bad.  Hopefully she quits sooner than later.

2. Kate Hudson

For some reason I’m not surprised the daughter of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn smokes. Rumor has hit her relationship with Alex Rodriguez drove her to cigarettes.  Once that relationship ended we’re not sure what she did.

3. Cameron Diaz

See Hudson, Kate. The Surgeon General should check dating Alex Rodriguez and smoking. We could be on to something here.  Then again Diaz has been smoking for years and continues to do so today.

4. Rose Huntington-Whitely

How disappointing! Young, beautiful, there’s really no need for cigarettes here. Are you starting to see the trend with skinny celebrities and smoking?  It’s not that they do it to be skinny but there’s certainly a correlation.

5. Mila Kunis

Kunis just has that smoker look to her. I can already imagine her smokers voice at age 50.  She’s known for her raspy voice.  We wonder if the smoking has anything to do with it.

6. Katherine Heigl

Somehow we’re not surprised that one of the most disliked actresses in Hollywood is a smoker.  How Heigl actually managed to land another television show is a mystery to us.

7. Miley Cyrus

This is how I know something is wrong with me. I was surprised to see Cyrus on this list. For all her ‘twerking’ and random stuff I figured she eats lettuce and takes care of herself.  But what in the world do I know?

8. Britney Spears

Don’t these singers get that smoking is bad for their voices?  Guess when you’re that successful it doesn’t really matter.   Especially when you land a gig that last 5 years in Vegas.  Gotta love contracts!

9. Lindsay Lohan

I forgot the title of this post was Celebrities You didn’t Know Smoked. Cigarettes are the least of this one’s worries.  Lohan’s got a lot more to worry about than her lungs these days. But let’s hope she gets it together quickly.

10. Kristen Stewart

They edited all the smoking scenes out of ‘Twilight’.  Just kidding.  But Stewart is one of those actresses that is somewhat like her indie film characters.  Unfortunately that includes tobacco addiction.

11. Nicki Hilton

You didn’t know Nicki Hilton smokes because you haven’t seen her in quite some time.  But just so you’re aware she does smoke and you probably won’t see her for quite some time.

12. Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen

Maybe it’s being in the fashion world?  Is that the allure of smoking?  We’re convinced these two are still trying to convince you they’re adults – so they smoke.  That has to be the answer right?

13. Snooki

JWoww smokes so Snooki has to too. The only difference is that Snooki doesn’t have a gruff voice like JWOWW.  We assume that Snooki stopped during her preganancies but we’re not 100% sure.

14. Sienna Miller

Another beauty bites the dust.. to cigarettes.  It’s a shame too.  Miller is such a beauty that we’d hate to see her health deteriorate.

15. Katy Perry

I’d like to hear you ‘Roar’ at age 50 after smoking your whole life.  Perry comes as kind of a surprise to us.  Maybe it’s the whole Christan music thing at the beginning of her career.

16. Rihanna

Rihanna is a big time smoker.  Given all the drama in her life it’s not a huge surprise.  But it’s not just cigarettes she gets the attention for.  See her Twitter account.

17. Adele

What did I say about beautiful voices!  This one is very hard to believe.  How is this even possible?  Adele has one of the best voices of all time.  Why even risk it?

18. Eva Longoria

Most Desperate Housewives do smoke. FYI.  But Longoria doesn’t come off as a smoker to me.  Just her character on the show.  She seems healthy in real life.

19. Shannen Doherty

Remember when Shannen Doherty was cool on 90210?  That might have beena long time ago and it might have looked cool to smoke cigarettes back then but it certainly doesn’t look cool today.

20. Melanie Griffith

Now that she’s no longer with Antonio Banderas she might be hitting up her nicotine fixes more often.  It’s just a bad habit and we’re not sure why this happens.
