Kylie Jenner’s lip kit is probably the most famous thing to come out of 2016 thus far, and the year is not over yet. The 18-year-old reality star and entrepreneur went through quite the change in the past two years, going from cute but kind of awkward teen to gorgeous young woman, but not without some serious speculation. Listen, I think she’s lovely and she’s absolutely right to capitalize on her family’s fame to make a name of herself in the business world (who wouldn’t?) so she can take care of her own, and I hate to speculate on what she did or did not have done. She says she’s had no plastic surgery and that all her changes are au natural, but I do have eyes and I feel that we should all just own our stuff.

Kylie Jenner’s lips went from barely there to Angelina Jolie-like seemingly overnight not that long ago, and they’ve made her famous. They became a ‘thing’ that people tried to do to themselves and when she introduced her lip kit, the world thought perhaps they could have magic lips like Kylie Jenner. And born was the Kylie Lip Kit, which sold out in something like negative 5 seconds, and the world went crazy. Still as popular as it was the day it was introduced, it’s always sold out, always unavailable and it’s being touted as the best thing ever (until the next best thing ever is introduced to us).

So how is it that the reality star’s company received an F rating from the Better Business Bureau? Well, it turns out that was a big mistake on behalf of the BBB, and we like them even more for owning up to their mistakes. At first, the lip kit was given an F because there were some serious complaints (69 for delivery issues, 55 about the product) about the entire thing.

Jenner’s camp stated that the issues with the delivery have to do with other people and not with them. Since the product is delivered in a personalized box that states the product all over it, it’s been reported more than once that people are seeing boxes left on doorsteps and stealing them so they can sell them for a huge profit online; certainly not something that can be blamed on Jenner, right? However, the BBB has since decided that they did not know that her business was so big and so popular, so they’ve decided that the number of complaints about the business is no longer quite so big. After announcing their F rating, they came back and retracted their rating to issue Kylie Jenner with a C rating. It’s passing, and we get the feeling that it’s all that matters in the Kardashian/Jenner family – you’re famous, you’re in the news, business is booming. So who cares what people have to say as long as they keep making your net worth that much more, right? Honestly, I’m thinking she’s not worried about it. After all, she is shopping for a location to open her own Kylie Lip Kit store. Take that, BBB.
